Royalty - song 18 and discussing selling royalties by Angela Lansbury copyright

Image
Tudor rose.  I'm thinking of my royalty, for no-one else, just for me  That means big or small money for me,  income for me, if small - tax-free  A little here, a little there From everywhere, that's only fair  I'm thinking of royalty, royalty, royalty A cup of tea, in the Royal Free I'm thinking of royalty How would you like to be An official partner of me We'll share thoughts and drink Earl Grey tea While discussing our royalty. Useful Websites -ende- The word royalty is ambigous. I originally meant collecting royalties on songs. However, the moment I looked at the word I imagined royalty like the royal family.  The royal free is a well known hospital in north London, England.

Let's All Sing song 17 by Angela Lansbury copyright

Let's all sing our favourite song Tap your feet, clap and sing along Start loudly like a banging drum But end with a soft, soothing hum Let's start with joy that's in our heart When we're together or apart What's better, greeting card, letter,  In the same room, smiling on Zoom Sing of things which we all can share Bringing happiness everywhere the bright blue sky and soft white clouds Gentle whispers, proud shouting loud We tapped our feet, clapped, sang along Old and new friends, our fav-or ite song End our song with a long, low hum Hum and hum, and hum, then we're done. - Hum and hum, and hum, then we're done. -ends-

Clearing Up song 16 by Angela Lansbury copyright

Red waste bin. Photo by Angela Lansbury. Copyright.  I'm tidying my life I'm throwing things away Deciding what must go And what I need to stay Chorus When I am drifting You help with the lifting You never have to try You just look in my eyes I ask what must go out? And lastly what stays in? What stays neat on the shelves? And what goes in the bin? When I look round the room I ask, who should be here? Who do I need most now? Who is most near and dear? I feel like I've know you For years and years and years You've shared all my laughter And wiped away my tears I'll throw old clutter out One thing I'll keep I know One person who must stay I'll never let you go. -ends- copyright Angela Lansbury 2025 eptember8th

First Day At School song 15 by Angela Lansbury copyright

Image
Polyphoto of Angela as a child. Today I saw little children Walking to their brand new school I remembered my first day there How glad I was to learn the rules I was so pleased to learn to read I was so pleased to learn to write I was pleased to hear - do not fight I was pleased to hear - be polite I learned about the sun and day I learned about the moon and night I remembered my first glad day My best, happiest day at school And I remembered the worst day My last day when I left my school I cried as if someone had died  Hugged and said goodbye to my friends Took pictures of the place and friends So sorry that it all would end Then I went off to a new place I started all over again And there I learned lots of new things And I made a new set of friends. There were new books I learned to read There were new books I learned to write The same old message, please don't fight The message I knew, be polite.  -ends- copyright Angela Lansbury 2025
