Clearing Up song 16 by Angela Lansbury copyright

 I'm tidying my life

I'm throwing things away

Deciding what must go

And what I need to stay

Chorus

When I am drifting

You help with the lifting

You never have to try

You just look in my eyes

I ask what must go out?

And lastly what stays in?

What stays neat on the shelves?

And what goes in the bin?

When I look round the room

I ask, who should be here?

Who do I need most now?

Who is most near and dear?

I feel like I've know you

For years and years and years

You've shared all my laughter

And wiped away my tears

I'll throw old clutter out

One thing I'll keep I know

One person who must stay

I'll never let you go.
